Konoko WIP Dump 02- RETROGASM 2019

Works-In-Progress of my entry for *Retrogasm Round 3* presented by Jon Troy Nickel, Konoko from *Oni*, my first PS2 game.

Sorry there's so much, I meant to do more regular dumps...

I don't think I'll make the deadline this year, either. At least I didn't just *stop* the way I did last year, after barely starting. Haven't been able to get UV unwrapping to work right, and I spilled Coke on my keyboard last week, killing it, and using the onscreen keyboard is slow and awkward. I did get her rigged, even got her knees to look alright! Usually a pain, them. Example of some mesh funkiness and the time I forgot a to select an arm bone when binding her suit to her skeleton. And having this weird issue where I took her armor out of the symmetry object, duplicated and reversed them, and added constraints so I don't have to go digging into her bones when I just want to adjust it; and for some reason, the full renderer renders them as mirrored, but originating from the original locations.

Brestplate evolution.

So I did, in fact, decide *not* to redo the hair with splines or whatever...

Really started liking what it came to, cespecially considering my initial dismay. Obviously I kept tweaking as I continued.

...and in the preview render it looks fine. (screencapped with the snipping tool). Nothing I could think of to do fixed it.

...and attaching them directly to the relevant bones did this. I think because the constraint tags are conflicting, and it won't let me remove them.
